All the latest news on public health and safety in Colombia and the world is ready for everyone to know through a key event that has a long history at the University of Cundinamarca.

This November 12th, you can connect through the UCundinamaca Facebook social network to the III International Seminar on Public Health and the V Congress on Occupational Safety and Health, which is being offered free of charge.

The university's Faculty of Health Sciences, with its nursing program, is leading the event, which has international recognition since the program has a 45-year history.

During the meeting, the latest research, analysis, and statistics on important issues surrounding public health worldwide will be discussed, including the latest coronavirus detected, which has caused several deaths in Colombia.

For example, Leonardo José León Núñez, a nurse and epidemiologist from the University of the Andes who works with entities such as the Bogotá Health Secretariat and the Red Cross in Colombia, spoke about the priority dimensions of public health surrounding COVID-19.

He, along with other international guests, gave his virtual presentation on November 11 when the international seminar began.

"Caring for Life: A Challenge for the World" is the phrase that accompanies this congress, which will also present research carried out by students and professors from the faculty of health sciences.

To connect to the event, you do not need to register or make any payment; simply go to the institution's Facebook fan page: Universidad de Cundinamarca, and you will see the live broadcast on the left side of the screen. If you are on a mobile phone, the live video will automatically play.
