Committed to measuring Carbon Footprint

The University of Cundinamarca, Soacha Extension and the Environmental Management System, in conjunction with the contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, implement and maintain good practices for the care of nature, thus contributing to the Institutional Carbon Footprint Measurement, the Certification of a Company Committed to Biosecurity and the Certificate of Social Responsibility.

Furthermore, in its commitment to environmental legal compliance, the university has developed two University Environmental Programs (PRAUs): the University Garden and the "Bottles of Love" initiative. These programs were achieved through the participation of the entire university community, including students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the university maintains ongoing collaboration with external entities such as the Soacha Municipal Environmental Secretariat. Together, they conducted two workshops to improve the garden, contributing to climate change mitigation and striving to become a green and sustainable university.
