UCundinamarca reaffirms its commitment to growth and innovation in higher education, confident that the new coordinator will contribute significantly to the development of the Business Administration program and the advancement of its students in the business world.

In an interview with the University of Cundinamarca News Agency, the new coordinator shared her impressions of this new challenge and her plans for the program:

UCundinamarca News Agency (ANUC): How do you feel about taking on the challenge of being the coordinator of the Business Administration program at the Ubaté branch?

Yuliana Pérez: It is an honor and a source of gratitude to be taking on this new challenge, both personally and professionally. Joining the University of Cundinamarca is a great opportunity, a privilege to put into practice all the skills I have cultivated to reach this position.

ANUC: What is your professional and academic background?

Yuliana Pérez: My career path began very young, at 16, when my aptitude for sales became evident. When I started my studies, I dreamed of working in the financial sector, where I worked for 12 years. However, I always had a passion for teaching, so I pursued a master's degree and diplomas in university teaching. Eight years ago, I entered academia, where I have fulfilled my life's purpose and am very happy. My experience extends beyond academia to include managing academic processes.

ANUC: What are the main objectives and goals for the program?

Yuliana Pérez: The Business Administration program at the Ubaté campus faces a significant challenge to become more competitive. We are in the process of renewing our Qualified Registration and have begun the Self-Evaluation and Accreditation process, within the framework of the MEDIT program. Furthermore, we seek to implement strategies aligned with the business sector and strengthen university and human social responsibility. We aim to develop innovative leaders with an international perspective and expertise in data analytics to meet the demands of the future.

ANUC: How do you envision the relationship between the program and the business sector in the region?

Yuliana Pérez: Business administrators are proactive professionals, prepared to work in diverse areas such as human resources, commerce, finance, and innovation. Our training must be geared towards a competitive and sustainable strategy, with leadership and a global vision. The University of Cundinamarca trains administrators capable of facing current challenges and contributing to the country's business growth, with an international outlook.

ANUC: What recommendations would you give to future business administrators to successfully face the challenges of the market?

Yuliana Pérez:
