Invitation to the Colciencias Call for Spin-Offs and Workshop on Opportunities and Challenges of Developing Technologies

Colciencias with the support of CreateThe Business Incubator is currently implementing the Science, Technology, and Innovation-Based Business Creation program. This initiative aims to strengthen knowledge and technology transfer by supporting the creation of spin-offs, strengthening their business models, marketing channels, and production chains, thereby contributing to increased innovation and competitiveness in the country.

This program is aimed at:

• • Higher education institutions
• · Research centers and institutes
• • Entrepreneurship centers
• • Technology development centers
• • Innovation and productivity centers
• · Other entities and organizations in the productive sector

These must meet the following requirements: Be located in Colombia, and demonstrate the development of a technology, either independently or in partnership with the entities described above.

Colciencias invites research groups, or related research groups and/or leaders in entrepreneurship areas, to participate in the information workshop about this call for proposals, which will be held on Wednesday. September 11th at 10:00 am. at the Colciencias Auditorium 2 Uricoechea facilities. The workshop will last approximately 2 hours.
