With the aim of reaching all graduates of the extensions and branches of the University of Cundinamarca through recreational and artistic activities, the sports and cultural meetings of graduates of the Institution began.
On this occasion, the Chocontá Extension was the starting point to begin a series of graduate meetings that will be developed throughout the rest of the year in the different municipalities where the Institution has influence.
“The role of university graduates in the municipality of Chocontá is very important because most graduates provide their services to the community, some from public positions; that is why we want to give them this space for recreation and tell them that their alma mater does not forget them,”, Dora Molina, Management Coordinator, stated.
One of the graduates attending the meeting was Braulio Antonio Marcelo Ballén, Registrar of Civil Status for the municipality of Chocontá. He is a graduate of the Business Administration program.
“I am very grateful to the University of Cundinamarca because, as a graduate of this institution, I have been able to improve my family's quality of life by holding various public positions in the department. Finally, I tell young people that studying at the University of Cundinamarca is an excellent option; it's located in their own municipalities, so they don't have to go to another city to become a professional.”, he emphasized.
