The new face of UDEC is being seen daily by thousands of people who travel along the Chía-Cajicá highway, which has presented important advances in technological and infrastructure investment, highlighting the commissioning of a modern auditorium, the construction of elevators for people with reduced mobility and the provision of complete faculty rooms and libraries.
With 8,214 square meters of construction containing 28 classrooms, five laboratories, an impressive library, six ICT rooms, two multipurpose rooms, two auditoriums equipped with the latest technology, modern workspaces for teachers, 300 parking spaces for all types of vehicles, and 1,000 square meters of green areas suitable for relaxation and sports, this headquarters symbolizes the present and future of an institution that has emerged despite significant budgetary limitations and changes in educational policies; thanks to the will and dedication of its workers, teachers, and students, who deserve all the credit for uniting to exert constant and well-directed pressure, which managed to unite wills and generate the necessary actions to transform reality until reaching this fulfilled dream, of which they are the main executors.
