On November 1st and 2nd, the 1st National and International Congress of Psychology was held, entitled “Challenges and opportunities for the training of Psychologists of the 21st Century Generation, a disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspective”.
This congress was attended by renowned national and international figures and research groups from all semesters of psychology at UCundinamarca.
Darwin Andrés Díaz Gómez, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Political Science, explained: “"To educate 21st-century students, it is important to create spaces for dialogue, following the institutional framework and generating reflections, questions, and cognitive imbalances.".
The activity became an interactive, dynamic and proactive space for students in the training of the profession who are interested in delving deeper into the disciplinary and interdisciplinary field of psychological science.
“Participating in these types of events is very rewarding because it allows me to gain a lot of knowledge, reinforce what I learned in my degree, and also develop myself in new contexts,”, Camila Sopó, an eighth-semester Psychology student, pointed this out.
Finally, the academic event included a poster exhibition and alternative activities led by the research groups of UCundinamarca.
