Certified in good corporate governance practices

The Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (ICONTEC) has awarded the University of Cundinamarca the Silver Category Seal of Good Corporate Governance Practices. These practices are essential to ensuring transparency, responsibility, institutional values, accountability, and efficiency in the institution's management.

It is worth highlighting that the Institutional Planning Directorate led the evaluation process for awarding the Good Practices in Corporate Governance seal with the certifying body ICONTEC, which evaluates the level of application of the model from two perspectives:

  • Composition, structure, competence and operation of the governing bodies.
  • The appropriation of the Principles of Corporate Governance.

Consequently, the level of application is in an advanced stage of development, and corresponds to a percentage compliance of 65%, broken down by perspective as follows:

  • Composition, structure, competence and operation of the governing bodies: 61%.
