Professors and researchers! Our journal, PENSAMIENTO UDECINO, is now accepting articles for its virtual edition No. 3 of October 2019. The purpose of this journal is to continue contributing to the development of research in the Business Administration Program, Facatativá extension, Faculty of Administrative, Economic and Accounting Sciences, University of Cundinamarca, and to recognize your efforts in advancing research in the region and at the university.

The journal PENSAMIENTO UDECINO is a scientific publication, identified with ISSN 2382-4905 and its main objective is the dissemination of research results and academic production.

It is published annually, starting in 2018 in a virtual format, and accepts unpublished articles in Spanish or English, accepting four types of articles in accordance with the requirements established by Colciencias: scientific and technological research, short article, reflection and review, assuming the APA standards for its publication.

  • Scientific and technological research article. A document that presents, in detail, the original results of research projects. The structure generally used includes the following sections: introduction, methodology, results, conclusions, and references.
  • Reflection article. A document that presents research results from an analytical, interpretive, or critical perspective of the author, on a specific topic, using original sources with a minimum of 30 references.
  • Review article. A document resulting from research that analyzes, systematizes, and integrates the findings of published or unpublished research on a field in science or technology, in order to account for advances and development trends. It is characterized by presenting a thorough literature review of at least 50 references.
  • Short article. A brief document presenting preliminary or partial original results of scientific or technological research, typically intended for rapid dissemination. The article should include the following sections: introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions.

Presentation format:

  • Articles that conform to the presentation parameters established by APA guidelines (font size and type, heading levels and formats, etc.) will be accepted. The maximum length of the article is six (6) pages (it is suggested that it be no less than 2,000 words and no more than 9,000 words) in two columns and single-spaced, using Times New Roman 10-point font, with 2-centimeter margins on all sides of letter-size pages.
  • If the article contains figures and photographs, these must be attached as separate files. Figures and photographs should be in JPG format, and graphs in Excel, PowerPoint, or similar formats. Files should be named to indicate whether they are photographs, graphs, maps, etc., and assigned a sequential number (Photo 1, Figure 2, etc.).
  • The article will also include figures with their respective titles, and photographs with captions. These graphic elements must be the authors' own work or creations; images taken from the internet will not be accepted.
  • If the text includes photographs, it is recommended that they be presented with good contrast with the other aspects; the treatment is similar to that of the figures.
