On Friday, September 8, 2017, a call for applications was held for Psychology students to join research groups and projects. This event was attended by students from the first through ninth semesters and faculty members Jenny Johana Cabrejo Rodríguez, Adrián David Galindo Ubaque, Jhon Jairo Morales López, and Rafael Leonardo Cortes Lugo. Students Laura Jimena Rodríguez Pinto and Luisa Fernanda Chavarro Pinzón also presented their respective research groups.
We appreciate the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Political Science, Darwin Andrés Díaz Gómez, who encouraged students to participate in the program's opportunities to develop and enrich their resumes and knowledge. The Dean took the opportunity to open a forum for academic discussions with students and faculty to talk about psychology and its future direction.
With this call for proposals, the Psychology Program begins its strategies to strengthen research as part of its commitment to student training and the recognition of the University in the municipality of Facatativá and the region.
