Call for papers: academic publication in the journal “Caminos Educativos"

The Directorate of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Basic Education with Emphasis in Humanities, Spanish Language and English, at the Girardot Branch, invites students, teachers, researchers, institutional directors, administrative staff and other external academic community to participate in this call.

The papers should address the topic of Latin American pedagogy from a historical perspective, but also from research and reflection on problems inherent to the reality of the region.

The works should revolve around the following thematic axes:

  • History of Latin American Pedagogy
  • Latin American pedagogy and integrated teaching
  • New School and Latin American Pedagogy
  • Education in conflict and post-conflict
  • Popular education in Latin America
  • Latin America and Ethnoeducation
  • Eco-education in Latin America
  • Impact of education in industrialized countries on Latin America
  • Ancestral pedagogies in Latin America
  • Latin American nomadic university
  • Alternative education in Latin America
  • Educational technology in Latin America

The purpose of the program's direction is to be a showcase for reflections and research according to thematic axes related to pedagogy and the human sciences.

This activity is linked to the project of developing the investigative spirit of the program, and inter-institutional dialogue, according to the priorities of the Experiential Learning Group to which the journal belongs.
