The institution is preparing for the sixth edition of its traditional Business Congress, raising its reach to an international level with the motto "VI Business Congress and I International: Beyond Management 5.0 – Learning, Innovation and Strategy", which brings together influential speakers from the business sector, promising a day of high-level learning and networking.
“Every year, the Business Administration program at the University of Cundinamarca leads this important event. This year, through the Dialoguing with the World program, we have the privilege of welcoming a visiting academic speaker from the Technological Institute of Roque, Mexico, who joins our panel of speakers,” said Yudy Constanza Rojas Ruiz, Knowledge and Learning Manager and leader of this initiative.
Rojas Ruiz emphasized the main objective of the congress: “As in previous editions, we aim to provide participants with valuable tools that will contribute to their training, leadership, and performance within organizations. This, in line with the Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT), seeks to positively impact global transformation from our University of Cundinamarca.”.
The congress agenda will feature international guests, a strategic initiative by the university to enrich the exchange of knowledge. Rojas Ruiz explained: “The University has strengthened its 'Dialoguing with the World' strategy to establish a Latin American dialogue with countries whose learning experiences can enrich the comprehensive education of our students and, in turn, allow our institution to make a significant impact on the community and contribute to solving social problems, based on successful experiences from other contexts.”.
For this sixth edition, UCundinamarca will host representatives from the Ministry of National Education and the Professional Council of Business Administration. Ediciones de la U, the publishing house of the university's Center for Knowledge Management and Learning, will also participate. Additionally, an expert will address the influence of entrepreneurs on social media and the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the development of managerial skills for strategic decision-making.
Rojas Ruiz highlighted the congress's connection to the MEDIT model: “This experience reflects how the Transmodern Digital Educational Model impacts the life skills of our graduates through learning, innovation, and strategy. We seek to integrate emerging technologies to respond to the needs of today's world and transcend the boundaries of the classroom, projecting the recognition of the University of Cundinamarca globally through translocality.”.
The UCundinamarca News Agency spoke with Erik Fabián Rodríguez Segura, Knowledge and Learning Manager at the Technological Institute of Roque, Mexico, who will participate as an international speaker as part of his academic exchange. His presentation will focus on translocality and human capital: “We will analyze the importance of translocality, comparing the characteristics in Mexico and Colombia to identify perspectives and strategies for collaborative work, focused on strengthening human capital and its impact on society.”.
The 6th International Business Congress will take place on Friday, May 16th, starting at 2:00 pm in the Emilio Sierra Baquero Auditorium at the Fusagasugá campus. Those interested can obtain more information and participate through the University of Cundinamarca's social media channels or by contacting them via email. [email protected]
