We are pleased to publish the attached draft resolution, which aims to regulate the appointment of tenured professors through a public merit-based competition at the University of Cundinamarca, in accordance with Agreement 027 of 2019 issued by the University's Governing Council, "Establishing the general conditions for the appointment of tenured professors through a public competition at the University of Cundinamarca." This regulation governs the merit-based competitions for the hiring of faculty members that will be held at the University in the future.
For the university's leadership, it is vitally important to disseminate these types of regulatory projects, which are fundamental to achieving its strategic objectives. In this context, this draft administrative act clearly demonstrates the importance this educational institution places on the profile of professors joining the University of Cundinamarca. Academic merit, work experience, and attitudes and aptitudes aligned with the university's policy guidelines are paramount in the selection process. These guidelines serve as a framework that should permeate all future merit-based competitions for faculty recruitment.
This document will be published on the University's website for a period of seven (7) days to receive comments, after which it will be analyzed and potentially modified. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you could send your comments no later than Tuesday, August 24, 2020, to the following email address: [email protected]
