We are moving towards institutional excellence

The audit process for the integrated management systems began on September 19. This process will continue until October 7 at the headquarters, branches, and extension offices.

In compliance with the annual audit plan for 2022, on September 19, with the assistance of Senior Management, process leaders and the company Enlace Consultores, the opening meeting of the audit of the Integrated Management Systems at the University of Cundinamarca was held.

“I thank the entire team for accepting the challenge of the comprehensive audit, which represents an opportunity to move towards excellence. However, it is worth noting that the institution has already prepared itself to respond to this type of challenge, which does not end here but rather with the ambitious goal of achieving High-Quality Institutional Accreditation and ranking among the top five public universities in Colombia,” stated Dr. Adriano Muñoz Barrera, Rector, during the opening ceremony of the audit.

These audits are intended to verify compliance with the requirements of the digital operating model based on the ISO 9001:2'15 standard, the occupational health and safety system under the ISO 45001: 2018 standard and Decree 1072 of 2015 part 2, title 4, chapter 6, explains Dr. Carolina Gómez, Director of Internal Control.

It should be noted that in October, internal audits of the environmental management system will begin under the criteria of the ISO 14001:2015 standard.“”As a 21st Century University, we approach process excellence through these verification and control activities that lead to continuous improvement and support compliance with the strategic plan,” the Director of Internal Control pointed out.
