You still have time, nominate your innovative teacher

With one week left to submit applications for the most innovative professors at UCundinamarca, those interested are invited to nominate teachers who, through their commitment, have excelled in each of the activities carried out in their classes.

“The 4th Observatory of Innovative Teachers is a great opportunity to highlight the work of teachers and encourage them to innovate even more in their classes. Students, staff, and teachers can submit their applications until Friday, October 22nd,” explained Francisco Conejo, coordinator of EFAD S21.

According to the EFAD leader, ten semifinalists will be selected based on their outstanding profiles, and from those, only three will receive the award. The call for applications opened a few weeks ago to encourage everyone to participate.

“An innovative teacher who leaves a mark on young people is resourceful and impacts the lives of our students. At UCundinamarca, we educate for life, and teachers who include innovation in their courses as part of daily life are leaving behind more than just knowledge.”.

EFAD S21 has been carrying out activities to motivate teachers to participate in the circuits as part of their training and continuous improvement. Likewise, it holds an annual competition to recognize the most innovative participants.

In this fourth version of the observatory, students or officials can nominate professors who have innovative, creative, participatory practices mediated by technologies.

The process

Registration opened on September 30th; those wishing to apply for a teaching position only need to access the link and answer the questions on the form.

The call for applications will close on October 22nd, and a judging panel will select the pre-selected candidates between October 25th and 29th. These pre-selected candidates will then be responsible for demonstrating why they are innovative teachers.

From November 1st to 8th, it will be determined which of them meets the requirements, and on November 11th, during the 4th Observatory of Innovative Teachers, the winners will be announced.
