Stay tuned for new dates for the Icfes tests

Thanks to the work of Colombian engineers, since last August thousands of students in technology programs have been able to take the Saber TyT state tests, necessary to obtain their degree, virtually.

Given the success of these tests, Icfes decided to use the same format for the Saber Pro tests, a graduation requirement for thousands of Colombian students in various undergraduate programs.

On December 6th, a cycle will conclude in which 326,000 students from across the country and abroad will have taken the Saber TyT, Saber TyT Exterior, Saber Pro, and Saber Pro Exterior exams virtually and simultaneously. This makes Colombia the first country in the world to administer its standardized tests virtually.

This milestone in the history of Colombian education was led by a national company, CognosOnline, along with partners Open LMS and Sumadi, and the support of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The summonses have already been published for approximately 260,000 students registered for the Saber Pro electronic test, under the at-home and on-site modalities, scheduled between Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, December 6 throughout the national territory.

Therefore, the University of Cundinamarca invites you to check the citation by visiting the Institute's website: www.icfes.gov.co.

The Saber Pro test is for all students in professional degree programs who have completed and passed more than 75% of their academic program. It is not necessary to wait until the final semester of your degree to take it.

On-site, the application will be developed over four days and seven sessions with all the biosafety regulations to protect the health of the students and the logistical staff who will support the exam.

However, you should check the official Icfes website beforehand to find out specifically what the established biosafety protocols are so that you can comply with them to the letter and avoid any problems on the day of the exam.

Finally, if you need to take the test at home using the electronic method, the following support channels are available:

1. Line 01-8000 128510.

2. Chat integrated into the Sumadi platform and the Zendesk service desk

3. Email address with the Icfes domain: [email protected] .
