For this version, the 'stages' and different theatrical pieces were moved to the streets of the city for the enjoyment of performing arts lovers.
These presentations took place in venues such as the Emilio Sierra Baquero Auditorium, Max Aya Park, Central Park, as well as sidewalks and facilities of educational institutions in the municipality.
“In this version, the goal is to begin decentralizing the Festival, expanding the venues, reaching more of the Fusagasugá community, and having special guests such as professionals from Bogotá and groups from the regional and extension campuses,” said Sebastián Muñoz, coordinator of culture at University Welfare.
During the days of the Festival, more than 20 artistic performances were held by groups such as Cabuya, Ubaté Branch; Los del Tanque, Soacha Extension; Teatro Formativo Fusagasugá Branch; Facacircus, Facatativá Extension; La Última Risa, Facatativá Extension; ALEPH, Fusagasugá Branch; SACA, Girardot Branch; among others.
These types of events are of great importance to UCundinamarca because they foster closer ties between the Fusagasugá community and the university's academic community. They also allow for raising awareness through art about different aspects of life and education.
