We are committed to integration and healthy competition

Between December 6 and 10, the administrative and teaching staff of the institution met for the sports Olympics that took place within the framework of the Sixth Cultural and Sports Meeting 21st Century, which brought them together around healthy competition and teamwork.

With competitions in frog jumping, table tennis, target shooting, volleyball and special skills, the University Welfare Directorate led the meeting that took place from the different headquarters and branches.

“With these activities we seek to promote healthy competition, teamwork and other values that stand out in our Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT) that help us in our day-to-day work,” explained Dr. María Margarita Moya, Director of University Welfare.

The objective of these workshops at UCundinamarca is to promote the integration of administrative and teaching staff in spaces that allow strengthening teamwork, the sense of belonging, democratic values and the development of skills through recreational activities.

“These were enriching days, because even though there is still some fear and we must maintain precautions to avoid infections, the staff were able to meet again and have a learning space through leisure and recreation, without letting their guard down with the protocols. This undoubtedly contributes greatly to everyone's well-being,” said Geimy Hernández, Health Leader at the University Welfare Department.

The activity was very well received by the administrative and teaching staff, who expressed their support through positive messages from the participants to the organizers, highlighting the importance of these activities.

The Directorate of University Welfare congratulates the winners and thanks them for their participation, willingness, and enthusiasm.
