The number of cases of contagion from the pandemic in the Garden City of Colombia has risen to ten.
Five have recovered, and five are under treatment. Of the five, three are in healthcare facilities in the capital and two are suspected of having contracted the virus at Corabastos, and are being treated at their homes.
The most recent case involves a 31-year-old male food transporter.
The Health Secretariat reported this on Sunday night, noting that 11 people are awaiting test results.
It was also announced that starting this Tuesday, May 19, 10 urban routes will be put into service, operating from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every 15 minutes throughout the city.
It can be used by people who are subject to the pico y cédula system, with face masks and disposable gloves, and only half of the vehicle's capacity will be used to maintain social isolation.
Public transport service to the sidewalks has been operating since last week.
The Transportation Terminal will also be gradually reopened with vehicles from the Cootransfusa company on the Fusagasugá – Bogotá route and vice versa.
Those interested in traveling to the nation's capital must comply with the biosecurity protocols required by the transport company online and the Terminal, as well as be among the exceptions established in the national regulations.
