Amazon Kindle at UCundinamarca

This is an electronic device, similar to a tablet, that becomes - in colloquial terms - the Netflix or Spotify of books, since it can hold a whole library with thousands of books in digital format.

These devices offer a whole catalog of literature, allowing you to adjust the brightness and contrast of the light for a reading experience very similar to that of paper, featuring texts by Gabriel García Márquez, Paulo Coelho, and Isabel Allende, among others.

Therefore, and with the purpose of making a little more known about this important tool, on April 28th, amidst the commemoration of Language Day, the Amazon Kindle tool was relaunched in the extension library as a strategy for its use.

“This is a great tool that brings knowledge closer to our students in a more dynamic way; our purpose was to publicize this resource that we have had for some time, but that due to issues such as the pandemic, many did not know about,” said David Felipe Montenegro, Coordinator of Libraries North node.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that this approach to literature is part of a project led by the Knowledge Management and Learning Center of UCundinamarca (CGCA).
