Spending nine hours a day browsing from any device is the habit of Colombians, a fact that makes them deserving of fourth place among the countries that dedicate the most time to the Internet.

According to the Global Web Index report, Colombia is the fourth country where people spend the most time online per day. The ranking is led by the Philippines, with an average of 10 hours and 7 minutes per day online; followed by Brazil with 9 hours and 29 minutes, Thailand with 9 hours and 11 minutes, and Indonesia, below Colombia, with 8 hours and 36 minutes per day.

The global average is 6 hours and 42 minutes per day, meaning that in Colombia, people consume 2 hours and 18 minutes more than the global average. Regarding mobile internet use, Colombia also ranks among the top countries with 4 hours and 49 minutes of daily internet consumption, making it the seventh highest, while the global average is 3 hours and 28 minutes.
