Salary point update for teachers

According to the Higher Council, the University of Cundinamarca informs that all professors with special appointments and hourly lectures will receive the salary point update that corresponds to them by law.

To that end, the Higher Council of the University of Cundinamarca, under agreement 025 of November 29, 2021, modified article 8 of the Academic Council Agreement No. 002 of December 22, 2017.

In accordance with the above, from this year onwards, professors with special ties and hourly lectures will be entitled to the updating of the salary point set, each year, by the National Government, from the moment the contractual adjustment to the salary point is made.

On the other hand, we reiterate the regulation of the Superior Council in Agreement No. 019 of October 28, 2021, which provides the favorable rule for the voluntary and free classification of professors with special ties and lecturers, while the employment relationship remains in effect, without it being possible to reduce the salary.
