Accountability Report of the University of Cundinamarca

On May 29th, the university will hold its "Open and Clear" Accountability Report in the municipality of Ubaté, with the purpose of informing the entire community about its management during the year 2017.

Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca), March 12, 2018. As is our responsibility to the public administration, the University of Cundinamarca invites the entire academic community, graduates, media, municipal and departmental authorities to the Accountability Hearing –Open and Clear– in which the management of resources, projects and actions carried out in the previous year will be presented.

“2017 was a year with great achievements in the Research process: 24 research groups categorized before Colciencias, of which one achieves category A, 39 categorized researchers and two patents are results of the management by results during this period,”, explained José del Carmen Correa, Director of Planning at the University of Cundinamarca.

In addition, the achievement of high-quality accreditation for the Bachelor's Degree in Basic Education with an emphasis in Social Sciences; the certification of Good Livestock Practices (GLP), granted by the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) to the La Esperanza farm in Fusagasugá; the ISO 9001:2008 recertification of the mission processes and the consolidation of the learning fields before the community are examples of the important advances in fulfilling the mission of UCundinamarca.

These results were achieved thanks to the commitment, responsibility and work of the administrative and academic team, which were consolidated under the vision of the Strategic Plan 2016–2026 and the Development Plan 2016–2019.
