Academic experiences in the development of knowledge, thinking and being in the Rectors' Chair

Educational institutions and universities participated in the Rectors' Chair at the Soacha Extension, a space for the exchange of ideas.

With the presence of the rectors of the Minuto de Dios University Corporation, the Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala Educational Institution and the María Auxiliadora Higher Normal School, and the attendance of the Udecina community, a discussion was held that addressed, among other topics, the role of education in social construction and academic experiences.

“It is very important to meet with students in these spaces. They are a point of reflection on the current state of education and what the alternatives for improvement are,”, Gerardo Rodríguez Nivia, Rector of the Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala Educational Institution, highlighted

Ferney Delgado, a student in the Sports Science and Physical Education program, emphasized the importance of these spaces for the Udecinos: “These academic experiences allow us to understand that academic models are changing and we must renew ourselves along with them.”.

This learning field enables Basic and Higher Education Institutions to identify challenges in order to prepare strategies and activities to deliver a competitive and innovative human being to the 21st Century society.
