Colfuturo opens application period for 2023 Scholarship Loan

This is how Jerónimo Castro, executive director of Colfuturo, explained the call for applications for the 2023 Scholarship Credit Program, by that entity.

The application period will be open until the 28th of this month for those who wish to pursue master's and doctoral degrees abroad.

Castro pointed out that Colfuturo guarantees that all applicants will have the same conditions, “we make the selection transparently, This year we want to select around 1,500 people again and we are very excited that you are motivated and encouraged.”.

The scholarships are offered by universities in North America (United States and Canada), Europe (Germany, Spain, Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Iceland, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland and the European Union), Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), Asia (Singapore) and Latin America (Costa Rica and Ecuador).

According to Colfuturo, it has signed 129 agreements with international universities of high academic level that grant up to 100 percent scholarships on their tuition fees.

The loan supports full-time, in-person programs, you can request up to $50,000, it's a loan in US dollars, the interest rates are: 71% TPR while you're studying, 91% TPR during the repayment period, and
15% during the non-compliance period.

To apply for these scholarships, the interested professional must be a beneficiary of the Scholarship Credit Program.

The Foundation sends the university the list of people who are going to study at that educational center, but it is the university that decides who to grant those benefits to.

To provide more information about the scholarships, Colfuturo is conducting webinars so that interested parties can learn which universities, through the Foundation, offer 100% % scholarships.
