The call for applications for the renewed National Prize for Scientific Merit is now open.

The knowledge gained through scientific research allows us to shape our future as a community, nation, and planet. The collective and individual efforts of scientists and educators have helped to narrow the knowledge gap in our society, develop new technologies that make life easier, and offer a glimpse into what lies ahead.

The National Award for Scientific Merit 2017 It is a recognition from the Colombian Association for the Advancement of Science of these efforts, and seeks to reward a researcher and a teacher for their achievements and contributions in scientific matters.
