A working group was established to discuss the Girardot Sectional Development Stamp.

On May 26, at the Girardot Municipal Council facilities, the UCundinamarca Girardot branch, represented by the Administrative Director, Fredy Valdés García, the Graduate Representative to the University Superior Council, Mario Fernando Ortiz Almanza, the student representatives, Juan David Cetina Parra, Alison Gutiérrez and Jhonatan Gómez, directors and professors of the academic programs, met with council members Marleny Orjuela (president of the board) and Edgar Valdés Ortegón (vice president), and with Orlando Carvajal (head of budget of the mayor's office) and Carlos Rozo (treasurer of the mayor's office), in order to begin the working groups scheduled within the framework of the accountability of the pro development stamp of the University of Cundinamarca for the month of March of this year.

In this regard, the University's representative justified the importance for the Girardot branch of restoring the stamp tax percentage by highlighting the impact of programs in Teaching, Research, University Interaction, and University Welfare; they also shared information related to Accreditation, which will have a positive impact on the municipality of Girardot.

The Girardot Municipal Administration, for its part, recognizes the leading role played by UCundinamarca in the city, as well as the possibilities for community transformation through the different programs carried out by the Institution.

Councilwoman Marleny Orjuela will present to the Municipal Council a schedule of sessions in which the scope of the restoration of the Pro University of Cundinamarca stamp in the Municipality of Girardot will be debated.
