The University of Cundinamarca is embarking on an exciting educational journey through the "Dialoguing with the World" process, which aims to overcome barriers to knowledge and enrich learning through internationalization. Applications for international academic mobility will be available soon. until September 18, 2024. The available options include: “Student Ambassador”, “Casa Cundinamarca” and “International Volunteering”, which give participants the opportunity to broaden their horizons in countries such as Brazil, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina, all of them with specific cooperation agreements.

The “Student Ambassadors” will have the opportunity to study for a semester at a foreign university, benefiting from full coverage that includes tuition, accommodation and food, complemented with financial support equivalent to three minimum wages, said Danny Alejandro Neira Vargas, manager of the process.

Likewise, those selected for “Casa Cundinamarca” will be able to complete international internships as a graduation option, receiving financial support equivalent to six minimum wages. While this does not cover the cost of food or lodging, connections will be facilitated with companies in the real sector to help them develop their projects.

The “International Volunteering” program will take place during the inter-semester period from June to July 2025. Here, 15 students from the University will have the opportunity to join social actions in countries such as Mexico, Brazil or Ecuador.

The call is open to both students from the fifth to tenth semester and 23 selected professors, who will enjoy exchanges of up to 15 days in international educational institutions, in addition to receiving financial support for transportation and medical insurance.

Neira Vargas emphasized that these exchange programs are perfectly aligned with the university's mission, strengthening training and learning processes. This ambitious program not only promotes the development of science and technology but also fosters social interaction within the university, thus building a bridge to the world.
