In an atmosphere of recognition and celebration, the University of Cundinamarca held the IX Management and Awards Meeting, Generation 21st Century 2025, a stage dedicated to highlighting the work of officials, Knowledge and Learning Managers, students, areas and teams that promote institutional development.
Dr. Adriana Asención Torres Espitia, Director of Institutional Planning, emphasized that this event “recognizes good administrative practices, quality academic management, and a continued commitment to the MEDIT Transmodern Digital Educational Model.” She added that the awards presented this year directly strengthen the 2024–2027 Development Plan.
During the event, which was attended by the Rector, Dr. Adriano Muñoz Barrera, the Superior Council, the Academic Council, deans, directors and heads of unit, Knowledge and Learning Managers, and students, the work of those who identified problems, designed solutions and achieved outstanding results through management and quality tools was highlighted.
The rector noted that UCundinamarca “has proven to be an intelligent and resilient organization, capable of innovating, adapting and generating real transformations,” congratulating the teams for their effort, dedication, commitment, performance and contribution to institutional excellence.
Following the presentation of the video showcasing institutional achievements, the awards ceremony began, divided into three categories:

The award is inspired by the sun on the university's coat of arms, a symbol of life, greatness, and eternity. Its fifteen points represent the provinces of Cundinamarca, and its center incorporates a stylized map of the department, reaffirming the university's territorial ties.
With this recognition, UCundinamarca reaffirms its commitment to innovative, humane, and excellence-driven public management. Each award fosters the development of a vibrant, participatory, and transmodern university, dedicated to serving the region and promoting learning.
