994 graduates in the second half of 2025

With the responsibility to continue fulfilling dreams; the new graduates celebrated not only obtaining a degree, but the culmination of a time of sacrifice, effort and learning.

The graduating class of this second academic period of 2025 reaffirms the institution's commitment to high-quality education under the guidelines of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT). According to information from the Admissions Office, 994 new professionals graduated across the different campuses as follows: Fusagasugá (285), Facatativá (230), Soacha (163), Chía (141), Ubaté (90), Girardot (68), and Zipaquirá (17). This distribution reflects the institution's territorial coverage and regional impact.

Rector Adriano Muñoz Barrera, speaking at the ceremony in Soacha, said: “Once you receive your degree from our university; transmodern and translocal like Cundinamarca, you carry with you a way of thinking that defends life, freedom, coexistence, civility and democracy.”.

“Remember that you are the generation of the 21st century, the hope of towns like Soacha and the department of Cundinamarca,” added the rector, highlighting the social responsibility of the graduates.

Muñoz Barrera emphasized that the graduates are trained to “live harmoniously, in peace and democracy, free from the ideological, political, religious, and cultural constraints of the 21st century.” This transhuman vision implies constant evolution and improvement. The rector reminded them that being a professional is only one of the roles they will fulfill: “They will be parents, children, leaders, ambassadors of this university, carrying the institutional message to families and communities.”.

Ivett Natalia Restrepo, a new Business Administration graduate from Fusagasugá, expressed: “The university instilled in me a desire to continue my education. Fusagasugá needs people prepared for the opportunities it offers.” Her thesis received institutional recognition.

Emilia Rodríguez, a graduate in Sports Science from Soacha, highlighted "the companionship, life experiences and extraordinary teachers" as the most valuable aspects of her training process.

Isaac Parra, a graduate of Business Administration from Chía, expressed his intention to "apply the knowledge acquired and what MEDIT taught us as a transhuman and transmodern person, specializing and undertaking positively.".

Andrés Bustos, the new public accountant from Facatativá, gave special thanks to the teaching staff and expressed his expectations for professional and personal growth.

This experience represented a unique moment for hundreds of families who saw the effort, dedication and commitment of the new professionals with the UCundinamarca seal materialized, culminating their training within the framework of MEDIT.

The university reaffirms its commitment to educating well-rounded, creative citizens dedicated to building a better future for Colombia. MEDIT continues to prioritize not only academic development but also connecting students with their social, cultural, and family environments.

These 994 new professionals carry with them the responsibility of representing institutional values and contributing to regional and national development from their different fields of professional action.
