IV Meeting of Young Researchers in Science and Peace Scenarios

The objective of the event is to discuss, through the presentation and discussion, water as an ecosystem service and the methodologies for economic and environmental valuation based on its use in agriculture in the Sumapaz Province, as a practice of social responsibility towards life and the planet, from the perspective of Public Accounting.

General programming

1. Main activity, Friday, April 26, 2:30 pm Emilio Sierra Auditorium: Conversation entitled: Economic valuation of water, as an ecosystem service in the agriculture of the Sumapaz Province.

The discussion will be led by Dr. Olga Lucía Albarracín Álvarez, Researcher at the National University of Colombia. Guests include Dr. Néstor Emilio Ruiz Rodríguez – Director of the CAR Regional Office in Sumapaz; the Green and Sustainable Business Office of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development; the Secretary of the Environment of Cundinamarca; the Secretary of Agriculture and Environment of Fusagasugá; and undergraduate and graduate professors and researchers in ecosystem services at the University of Cundinamarca, among others.
