Around 300 people gathered to enjoy the IV International Couple Dance Festival, an event that featured delegations from Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador and Venezuela, and national artists from Antioquia, San José del Guaviare, among others.
The event, which took place from the 13th to the 15th of this month at the Ubaté branch and was led by the University Welfare department of the campus, had the purpose of promoting cultural activity in dance for the benefit of the inhabitants of the province.
Likewise, through these artistic displays, the aim is to position the University of Cundinamarca as a cultural showcase in the region in order to strengthen traditional folk dances in Latin America.
