II Workshop “Dialoguing in the World of Software”

The 2nd Latin American UCundinamarca Workshop 2020, "Dialoguing in the World of Software," will be an event bringing together students and professors from across the country and around the world to share experiences in software development and strengthen skills and competencies. It will be held virtually on September 24th and 25th, with live streaming on Facebook. The event will provide an academic forum for exchanging knowledge related to different programming languages, promoting creativity and innovation in digital development.

WHAT IS A WORKSHOP?

A workshop, also known as an intensive work session, can be defined as a training event, as it has educational objectives. It is organized to communicate relevant information and educate participants on a specific topic. It has clear objectives and a select group of participants who are empowered to deliver the required results. Furthermore, a workshop serves to promote trust and effective communication among those involved.

OBJECTIVE

Strengthening academic training processes in the professional profile of the systems engineer, where the participation of national and international universities will be convened in order to share experiences and knowledge in different programming languages, promoting creativity and innovation in software development.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The II Latin American Workshop: “Dialoguing with the Software World” is a space that contributes to the generation of projects or business ideas and entrepreneurship in the different areas of software such as: application development, websites, mobile application design, among others, to meet high quality standards and new software development trends.

The event will feature the participation of students and teachers from different universities nationally and internationally and will allow for the strengthening of skills in different areas such as:

1. Strengthening the training of teachers and students in programming marathon processes.

2. National and international dialogue spaces to learn about current software development trends.

3. Practical applications of software development in different environments.

The event will take place online on September 24 and 25 via Facebook Live broadcast using Zoom rooms.

Two experts will train both students and teachers in the development and implementation of problem posing and solution generation based on the structure of exercise development based on the standards established by the ICPC.
