The UCundinamarca skating club continues to make its mark on the national circuit. During the month of August, its athletes participated in two high-level competitions, winning a total of 26 medals thanks to their discipline, dedication, and effort.
In the First Departmental Ranking Copa Ruta Dorada, held in Madrid, Cundinamarca, on August 2nd and 3rd, the team won 18 medals among more than 350 skaters from 35 clubs in the country, consolidating itself as one of the protagonists of the event.
Subsequently, in the Roller Marathon and the 200 Meter Lanes Test, within the framework of the Summer Festival 2025 in Bogotá, on August 23 and 24, the delegation made up of 13 athletes added 8 more medals, standing out in the advanced and non-advanced professional categories, among 500 competitors from 30 clubs.
Coach Maribel Chalá Castillo emphasized that these results are the fruit of training, perseverance, and the support of the families. She also confirmed that the team is preparing for upcoming competitions: the 4th National Skating Festival for the junior category (September 5-7) and the 2nd National Interclub Tournament (September 12-14) in Bogotá.
With these achievements, the University of Cundinamarca reaffirms its commitment to sports and regional talent, motivating young people to continue proudly representing the institution and the department on national stages.
