IPA Election Discount 2019

This is important information for all students who wish to access the 10% discount on the tuition fee for IPA 2019, by presenting the electoral certificate (SECOND ROUND of the 2018 Presidential Elections, held on June 17, 2018).

The student community is informed that, in accordance with the provisions of laws 403 of 1997 and 815 of 2003, in order to make effective the 10% discount on the value of the tuition for the different Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs corresponding to the second academic period of 2018 and in the other academic periods that take place until the following elections in which they participate.

Final deadline: until December 10, 2018, you can access the institutional platform with your username and password in the "Electoral Discount" icon.

They must attach a PDF file containing a scanned copy of the electoral certificate corresponding to the elections held on June 17, 2018 (Second round of the 2018 Presidential Elections) and a photocopy of the national identity card on a single sheet.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Log in to the institutional platform with your username and password.

2. Select the “Electoral Discount” module.

3. Choose the curriculum to which you belong and press “Upload Documents”.

4. Record the voter registration certificate number.

5. Attach the document in PDF format containing a copy of the electoral certificate and the citizenship card on a single sheet, and save the process.

6. In the message “Process completed successfully” press “Finish operation”.

Once the information has been uploaded to the system, starting December 13, 2018, you can verify if your discount was successfully applied by clicking the button. Election Discount.

According to Resolution 075 of June 12, 2014, “…Article 2.- The University of Cundinamarca, applying the principles of economy, speed and good faith, presumes the authenticity of the scanned electoral certificate; however, it reserves the right to conduct subsequent reviews…”

Note 1: Documents submitted outside of the established dates will not be taken into account for the settlement of the tuition for the first academic period of the year 2019.

Note 2: To obtain this benefit, the only valid certificate is that of the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS “SECOND ROUND” OF JUNE 17, 2018. Voter registration certificates issued before the date mentioned are not valid.

Note 3: Only the student's electoral certificate is valid.

Note 4: If the student has an Identity Card, the Electoral Discount will not be applied. This document must be updated beforehand at the Admissions, Registration, and Academic Control office.

Note 5: If you uploaded the certificate for the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS “SECOND ROUND” OF JUNE 17, 2018 for the second academic period of 2018, there is no need to upload said certificate again.
