Human rights: part of professional training?

The first Oratory, Short Story, and Poetry Contest, "Latin American Language Day," was held in the Emilio Sierra Baquero Auditorium at the University of Cundinamarca. Fifteen finalists participated, competing in three categories and three levels.
In this first version, where the theme was based around peace, 72 people registered for the categories of oratory, poetry and short story at the Basic, Intermediate and Higher levels.
Subsequently, the evaluation committee, in accordance with the literary quality described in the contest regulations, pre-selected a group from which 15 finalists were chosen who delighted the cultural public in the Emilio Sierra Baquero auditorium.

The purpose of this event was to integrate children, adolescents, and young people of the 21st Century generation into spaces that allow the exchange of knowledge about culture.
Likewise, this academic setting contributes to life skills training, democratic values, civility and freedom, fostering the preservation of cultural traditions through storytelling and poetry made visible in writing and oral expression.
The event was held in coordination with the Education Secretariat of the municipality of Fusagasugá, and with the endorsement of three (3) judges, members of the network of teachers of the discipline.
The jury was made up of Henry Jiménez, a professional in musical studies from the Pontifical Javeriana University and the National Pedagogical University, director of artistic and cultural training projects, among others.
The second was Carlos Neil Cruz, a graduate in Educational Administration, a specialist in Project Management and currently a teaching director-supervisor at the Ministry of Education.
Representing the University as a jury member was the dean of the Faculty of Education, Irma Rubiela Calderón de Zéqueda, Master in Education with Emphasis on Research and Curriculum, Master in Political Studies with Emphasis on Public Management.
