1st NAF meeting in agreement with the DIAN

On February 23rd, in the Alberto Urdaneta Forero auditorium, the Public Accounting program, from the Ubaté branch, held the first face-to-face meeting of the Fiscal Support Center in agreement with the National Directorate of Taxes and Customs.

The event aimed to hold a conference on current issues related to the simplified tax regime and the handling of questions, complaints, suggestions and answers (PQSR) from taxpayers to the National Directorate of Taxes and Customs (Dian).

“We wanted to provide this type of space for teachers and students because it is important that we, as a program, provide the necessary tools to the academic community, and we wanted to take the first step by holding a conference at home,” stated Catherine Ninoska Guevara, Coordinator of the Public Accounting program at the Ubaté branch.

The event included the participation of students and teachers from the Accounting program, from all semesters of the UniMinuto, UniCafam Universities and the University of Cundinamarca, Chía extension and Ubaté branch.

The conference was also streamed on the Teams platform and had 393 viewers. “This is the first time we’ve implemented a hybrid system for this type of activity, and we received a positive response from the attendees,” Catherine noted.

This event marked the opening of the conference series, aimed at communities and business owners, which the program will conduct to raise awareness and provide instruction on current tax matters.
