The UCundinamarca Skating team had an outstanding participation in the Finish Class 2025 Festival, held on Sunday, December 14th in the municipality of Funza, Cundinamarca, where they competed in the semi-professional skating category.
The delegation, made up of eight athletes, demonstrated talent, discipline and commitment in each of the events, achieving a total of 11 medals: 4 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze, a result that reflects the team's constant training process.
Coach Jefferson David Gómez Díaz congratulated the skaters on their performance and highlighted that the competition brought together more than 400 athletes and 29 clubs from different regions of the country, which makes the achievement of the university delegation even more significant.
Thanks to collective effort, the team managed to position itself as the fourth club with the most medals in the semi-professional category, consolidating itself as one of the most outstanding delegations of the event.
According to the coach, these results confirm that a solid foundation is being built from the initial categories, which will allow them to successfully face the sporting challenges of 2026.
The team's coach also expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support of the parents, the institutional backing of the University of Cundinamarca, and the commitment of the coaching staff, all of which were fundamental factors in continuing to achieve success.
