10th Community Meeting: Movement, Play and Culture

Groups of older adults, foundations and children's and geriatric homes, drug-dependent population and people with functional diversity participate in the event every semester.

The 10th Community Meeting Movement, Play and Culture was held on May 25th at the Coburgo Coliseum in the city of Fusagasugá, with the participation of population groups belonging to geriatric homes, the Fusagasugá Penitentiary and Prison Center, and various foundations.

It is worth noting that a total of 16 towns and around 600 people from the municipality of Fusagasugá benefit each semester from the professional and community-based pedagogical practice led by seventh-semester students of the Bachelor's Degree in Basic Education with an Emphasis on Physical Education, Recreation and Sport.

The contributions and benefits generated by this community gathering are related to the development of civic culture, values, coexistence, and peace.

The community gathering allows the development of a pedagogy of inclusion towards all people without any discrimination, allowing us to rescue the expression of our culture from a space of encounter in community through education and physical activity, recreation, dance, and sports.
