On September 30th, in the main park of the municipality of La Vega, the Boleros group, the Tropical orchestra and the Cely Brothers trio from the Music program of the University of Cundinamarca, Zipaquirá Extension, delighted the population of this municipality with their varied repertoire, artistic staging and their talent.

The Soacha Extension, through its academic program in Sports Science and Physical Education, under the leadership of eighth-semester student Oscar Sanabria Gómez and the University Welfare Coordination, held this event for the second time. The event aims to continue generating social outreach activities that benefit students and the population of the municipality of Soacha, creating recreational spaces that allow for the strengthening of artistic skills and the creation of new academic spaces that, through dance, foster the personal growth of the participating community.
Between October 5 and 6, the Second UCundinamarca Digital Meeting was held at the University of Cundinamarca, which brought together more than 400 students from different Engineering programs with different types of disabilities, who presented amazing low-cost technological innovations for people in similar conditions.

The nursing program at the Girardot branch is conducting a workshop for caregivers and family members to strengthen educational strategies for self-care and the adoption of healthy lifestyles in a dependent person with a chronic illness.

The world must know that this new paradigm of transmodernity and translocality is real and possible, and that it will most certainly bear fruit for society and the future of education in our country.” With this clear and moving message, Rector Adriano Muñoz Barrera concluded his remarks at the forum held at the Soacha campus.
