Call for articles for book publication
This call for papers seeks articles for a special issue on environmental management in the Mancilla district of Facatativá (Cundinamarca). These articles will be published in a book edited by the University of Cundinamarca, Facatativá Extension. Interested parties may submit articles until June 30, 2020, as the book is scheduled for publication on September 1, 2020.
CoronArchivos, records environmental restoration
Thanks to the initiative developed by José Mancera, a professor at the National University, in partnership with German biologist Horst Salzwedel and Fredy Duque, a professor at the Environmental Engineering Program, Facatativá extension of the University of Cundinamarca, CoronArchivos was created. This web portal allows citizens to participate and contribute audiovisual material about the environmental restoration taking place without human intervention. Although still in its early stages, it is hoped that it will have a significant impact on environmental preservation in the not-too-distant future.
