Transmedia Center Home

Design transmedia strategies for organizational, educational, marketing and public opinion communication.

Part of the concept of “technological convergence”", which consists of merging various technologies to find new formats suited to the public that, individually or in groups, uses them to engage in dialogue.

The aim is to:

• The design and execution of storytelling strategies.
• The manufacture of transmedia multimodal communication pieces.
• Offer services for the effective dissemination and propagation of transmedia messages.
• Develop transmedia digital literacy plans.

Thus, the Transmedia Center contributes to the ensuring training and learning, the knowledge management and the project transformation, experiences, problem-solving, speeches, narratives, and research in transmedia products. This is how we work collaboratively in:

  Development of courses and training sessions applied to research for the visibility of scientific content: dissemination of research products and network management.

Furthermore, it will support the co-creation of other CAI and CADI to transform their academic and research narratives and optimize the transmedia organizational processes of the Udecina administrative community.

Through its advisory and consulting services, the Transmedia Center proposes the construction of transmedia digital spaces and contexts; the planning, production, and management of transmedia digital networks; the design of transmedia and transhuman learning devices, formats, and academic platforms based on Artificial Intelligence (AI); the creation and maintenance of multifunctional transmedia communities; the analysis of gamification and ludification factors in transmedia content; and finally, training in transmedia communication.

CGCA

For the IIPA 2023 period, two important events were recorded, developed between the Transmedia Center, the CAI of Communication and Critical Reading and the CGCA, within the framework of the programmed and developed academic and cultural activities.

The CGCA actively collaborates with the Communication CAI by providing support lectures to students and faculty in the Humanities Area, such as: Database Management; APA Style; and Turnitin services for filtering documents of interest to our community. It also lends its facilities for cultural events, including the "Reading to the Ear" sessions during University Cultural Week and the First El Pensador Awards Ceremony, which recognizes the best challenges presented by students from the main campus, branch campuses, and extension centers, developed during the academic semester in the Communication and Critical Reading CAI.

Also noteworthy are the alliances of the CGCA with the CAI, in Girardot and Facatativá, with the realization of the Grammar Olympics.
