The Transmedia Center of the University of Cundinamarca is part of the 2020-2023 Development Plan, in its "Transmodern Translocal Culture" front as a training strategy that is part of the Institutional Learning Field (CAI) Communication and Critical Reading, within the framework of the Multidimensional Learning Field (CMA) of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT), attached to the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Political Sciences.
Its essential purpose is to contribute to training and learning in the management of narrative experiences related to knowledge management in order to "Transform and disseminate the learning experiences produced and selected in the Institutional Learning Field (CAI) of Communication and Critical Reading into transmedia products." Likewise, it aims to create transmedia learning networks to manage knowledge mediated by New Information and Communication Technologies in articulated co-creation processes with the Institutional Learning Fields (CAI) and the Disciplinary Learning Fields (CADI), to transform their academic narratives and ensure learning in general, through the delivery of courses and diplomas in the context of harmonization with the management of other University entities such as the Center for Knowledge and Learning Management (CGCA), the School of Teacher Training and Learning (EFAD), and the Office of Virtual and Distance Education.
