With the attendance of around 80 students from the San Mateo Educational Institution in grade 11, the UNIVERSITY FAIR was successfully held, organized directly by the institution in order to provide clear and timely information to each of its students about higher education.
The event showcased classroom experiences related to coexistence, peaceful conflict resolution, and civic competencies, presented by teachers in the municipality who are innovating to build a peace-based education for the benefit of the community.
On September 20th, in the presence of the Mayor of Soacha, Eleazár González Casas, the University of Cundinamarca and the Uniminuto University demonstrated their commitment to continue working for the education of the inhabitants of the municipality of Soacha.
The Soacha Extension, through its Industrial Engineering program and with the social projection of UCundinamarca with the inhabitants of the municipality in mind, designed a cycle of training sessions that would benefit the population victimized by the conflict in the municipality of Soacha.
El 25 de Agosto en el Auditorio de la Biblioteca de la Extensión Soacha se realizó la socialización de las zonas WIFI por parte del Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones (MinTIC) y la Alcaldía de Soacha. Dicha reunión despertó el interés en la comunidad ya que gracias a estos espacios de conexión gratuita, los ciudadanos de este municipio contarán con el acceso fácil, rápido y seguro a Internet.
At the Soacha Extension, the first soccer clinic was held with the coach of the Canadian Association, John Báez Castrillón, who emphasized the workshop in promoting the CPS philosophy which stands for Cooperation, Patience and Silence, aimed at all the students of the physical education program, who were motivated by this type of activity outside the classroom that contribute to their professional training.

The event allowed attendees to discuss relevant topics that contributed to bringing about changes to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality of Soacha, especially people with disabilities who present high levels of vulnerability.
A través de una alianza estratégica con el SENA, la Extensión Soacha convocó a sus estudiantes de últimos semestres y graduados de la Extensión para que participen en esta jornada de socialización, que busca promover la creación de empresa; y los que ya la tienen que la formalicen y puedan acceder a las diferentes convocatorias que actualmente ofrece el Gobierno Nacional para los estudiantes emprendedores de nuestro país.
