High-Quality Accreditation for Social Sciences
As a result of the continuous improvement of educational quality that the University of Cundinamarca has been making, the Ministry of National Education, MEN granted the High Quality Accreditation through Resolution No. 11718 of June 9, 2017, for a period of four years to the Bachelor's Degree program in Basic Education with Emphasis in Social Sciences of face-to-face modality offered at the Fusagasugá Campus, face-to-face modality, daytime schedule.
UCundinamarca welcomed the graduate students
On August 5th, the orientation and welcome session for postgraduate students was held at the various campuses of UCundinamarca. During the opening ceremony, greetings were offered by the Rector, Vice-Rector, and Director of Postgraduate Studies, who encouraged the students to continue their academic preparation with enthusiasm, emphasizing its importance in facing the challenges of today's world. Around 90 students participated in this event at the Fusagasuga campus, demonstrating their interest, commitment, and willingness to continue building their professional and academic future with the foundation offered by UCundinamarca. It is worth noting that professionals today must continue their academic preparation, since the challenges posed by companies demand professionals with diverse skills, as well as specific and specialized knowledge that responds to the needs of individuals and the market. According to the Ministry of National Education, specializations in Colombia have a demand of 611% compared to master's and doctoral degrees, which are still relatively uncommon. As the final activity of the event, an orientation session was held on the curriculum, schedule, graduation requirements, and an explanation of Agreement 009, led by the coordinators of each program. Open call for research projects
