With this visit, the group from the Agronomic Engineering program of Facatativá aimed to characterize sympatric plants of the Chingaza moorland.
During the laboratory sessions, and considering the educational purpose, which states that “the University of Cundinamarca aims to train psychology professionals within a bio-psycho-social and cultural framework, with a high level of social and ethical commitment,” students have access to the following facilities: GESELL CHAMBER: From a didactic perspective, working in the Gesell Chamber allows students to train in psychological assessment through various techniques such as interviews, systematic observation, and role-playing. PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS: Since the beginnings of psychology, psychometric tests have been valuable tools for measuring different human characteristics. The Psychology Laboratory has approximately one hundred (100) tests and instruments in the areas of clinical, intelligence, personality, neuropsychology, organizational, and educational (vocational guidance) psychology, with the necessary and appropriate features for individual or group administration, as needed. PSYCHOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS: Sensory perception instruments and others are also available for educational use. Tests, instruments, and a Gesell observation room are loaned to teachers and/or students of various subjects, such as Measurement and Evaluation II: Intelligence and Aptitude.
The second session will be held on May 27th at the Facatativá extension. The aim is to raise awareness about waste management.
Promoting physical activity and environmental conservation are some of the challenges with this initiative.
At the Facatativá extension, the “UDEC Talks” and the “English Day” were held, activities in which around 200 students participated.
The distinction was awarded to two graduates and a teacher who created a prototype for measuring olfactory alteration.
Environmental recovery efforts are progressing in Facatativá, collecting packaging waste that is then converted into plastic lumber.
