Teachers and administrative staff participated in a discussion with the rector of Fusagasugá and Soacha
Rethinking and reinventing the university, with its stakeholders—faculty, administrative staff, students, graduates, and all of Cundinamarca—in order to meet the challenge of educating for life, democratic values, civility, and freedom, and to be capable of solving problems in its environment through the generation, management, and transmission of knowledge, Rector Adriano Muñoz Barrera is advancing in the socialization and collective construction of the 2016-2019 Rectoral Development Plan, Generation 21st Century, at the university's campuses and extensions.
At the Fusagasugá Campus and the Soacha Extension, several questions raised by attendees, faculty, and administrative staff were answered. The institution's shortcomings over the past few years were also discussed, with particular emphasis on the fact that the current leadership plan will build upon past successes to continue striving for the University's continued success. Furthermore, the Rector highlighted “"With the active participation of everyone, continuous improvement can be achieved in the training and learning processes of an academy, 21st century generation.".
It is worth noting that the discussions will continue to be held in the extensions and sections to socialize and collectively build the guiding mission objectives of the 2016-2019 Development Plan.
