Election Discount Take advantage of the 10% discount for electoral certificates

You'll be eligible for a 10% discount on the tuition for the IPA 2026, presenting the certificate from the Territorial Elections of October 29, 2023.

The student community is hereby informed that, in accordance with the provisions of Laws 403 of 1997 and 815 of 2003, in order to apply the 10% discount to tuition fees for the various undergraduate and graduate programs for the 2026 academic year, you must upload your voter registration certificate to the institutional platform; therefore, it is necessary that TODA the student community upload their electoral certificate.

Article 12. Procedure for validating compliance with access requirements. Paragraph 1. If the public higher education institution exceeds the limit of allocated resources to finance tuition fee waivers, the HEI shall prioritize the allocation of the benefit based on the enrollment processes it defines within the framework of its autonomy and in accordance with the following order: i) Returning students and ii) New students.

Starting from September 17, 2025 and up to the November 14, 2025 You can log in to the institutional platform using your username and password by clicking the icon “Electoral Discount” and upload the corresponding voter registration certificate.

Note 1: If you are an undergraduate student and do not meet the requirements set forth in Law 2307 of 2023 and Decree 2271 of 2023, “you will receive a 10% discount on your tuition fees upon uploading your voter registration certificate.”

Note 2: Documents submitted after the established deadlines will not be considered for the enrollment registration for the first academic term of 2026. 

Note 3To obtain this benefit, the only valid certificate is that of the TERRITORIAL ELECTIONS ON October 29, 2023.

Note 4: Election certificates issued prior to the aforementioned date NO are valid, and the corresponding election discount will NOT be applied. 

Note 5: Only the voter registration certificate issued by the STUDENT. 

Note 6: If the student has an Identity Card as their document type on the University platform, It will not be applied the Electoral Discount. This must be updated with priorness at the Admissions and Registration office.

Note 7: If you were a beneficiary in the 2025-2 period, it is not necessary to upload the certificate again.

IMPORTANT: Before canceling the 2026–1 tax settlement, check your personal information and verify that the applicable election discount was applied.
