Superior Council approves financial aid for students

More opportunities to fulfill the professional dreams of our student community!

The Superior Council of the University of Cundinamarca, in a session held on May 21st, approved the repeal of Article 4 of Agreement 014 of 2012, eliminating the additional charge of the four (4) points that were applied to the undergraduate tuition fee.

What does this decision mean?

Starting in the second half of 2026, undergraduate tuition will be equivalent to only one (1) current statutory monthly minimum wage (SMMLV), or $1,750,905, providing significant financial relief for hundreds of families in the region.

This decision reflects the institutional commitment to access and retention for our opportunity creators, generating a positive impact on family economies and strengthening high-quality public higher education.

“This measure represents a significant benefit for our students and their families, reaffirming the University's commitment to an accessible, inclusive, and quality education,” highlighted Dr. Pilar Ubaque, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the University of Cundinamarca.

At the University of Cundinamarca, we continue building opportunities, promoting an education that is more accessible, fair, and focused on the well-being and life plans of our students.
