As of August 1, 2025, the provisioning model for storage under Microsoft 365 licensing was changed., “All storage available to the institution will be pooled and limited, calculated based on the number of active licenses and shared among all services: Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive.”.

Guidelines for using M365 education email during storage contingency
